Let’s get something out of the way:

I’m not scratch.

I’m not a swing guru.
I’m not filming slow-motion drills in a perfectly pressed polo.
And I’m definitely not here to tell you that your entire golf life can be fixed in 3 easy steps.

I’m just a recreational golfer…

Trying again tomorrow.

That’s what this is.

Most Golf Content Isn’t Made for People Like Us

Most golf advice online comes from one of two places:

  1. Someone who’s never hit a shot over 75

  2. Someone pretending they don’t

Meanwhile, the rest of us are out here doing things like:

  • Hitting one pure 7-iron… then immediately topping a wedge

  • Feeling great on the range… and confused on the course

  • Making triple after the best drive of the day

  • Walking off 18 thinking, Why do I love this game so much?

That’s real golf.

That’s the golf I play.

Golf Isn’t Hard. Expectations Are.

Golf is hard, sure.

But what really wrecks most rounds isn’t mechanics…

It’s the invisible pressure we put on ourselves.

The expectation that we should be better by now.
The belief that one bad hole means something is broken.
The idea that everyone else has it figured out.

Spoiler:

They don’t.

They’re just better at hiding it on Instagram.

This Isn’t a Highlight Reel

You won’t find “perfect golf” here.

You’ll find things like:

  • Bad body days

  • Indoor mat fatigue

  • Swing thoughts that don’t survive the 1st tee

  • Progress that comes in weird, uneven chunks

  • The mental battle of staying patient when you care too much

Because the truth is…

Most golfers don’t quit because they don’t improve.

They quit because they think they’re the only ones struggling.

You’re not.

So What Is The Candid Golfer?

This is a place for recreational golfers who love the game…
